MAR.9/08 - COBRAS SEASON ENDS IN HEARTBREAK
The Canora Cobras went the full 5 games, but came up short in overtime, as the Kelvington Wheat Kings won game 5 with a goal just 2 minutes into overtime to win the game 5-4 and the series, 3 games to 2. The Wheat Kings now move on to play the Theodore Buffaloes in the league final.
For the Cobras, the overtime goal marked the fourth consecutive season that the Cobra year ended in overtime - the last three with the visitors scoring on Cobra ice.
